I totally did not know this until I read Esther Kreitman's poem, "My Ancestry Speaks," that I had to read for my class on Yiddish Women Authors. I got so excited when I saw "Leipzig and Danzig" in the second stanza!

I just thought I'd mention. [Big Grin]

Plus, I'm bored. [Wink]

(edit: The poem may be by Anna Margolin, not Esther Kreitman, I don't remember at the moment.)

danzig is also a very contraversal place since its one of the causes of ww2.
