So, I almost passed out in Wal-Mart today.

I was over at the Glade plug-ins, and got dizzy, and I figured maybe it was just from smelling all that scented stuff. I moved on over to the clothes, and then I got *really* dizzy. I walked over to the dresing rooms, so I could sit down, and I almost blacked out by the time I got there. If I didn't sit down right when I did, I would have passed out. I sent my sister out to get me a soda so I could have some sugar. (Apparently, I forgot to have breakfast.) So the lady at the counter called my mom, and she came to get me. When my mom got there, I was feeling better, so I drove myself home and let my mom finish the errands.

Next time I will eat before I go out shopping.

So are you pregnant too then?

The only times I ever passed out (or even came close) were when I was pregnant and skipped a meal.

Okay, I just re-read my post and it sounds like I might be announcing that I one of the pregnant ones here... [Embarrassed]

Let me assure you all that I am not, but I haven't really kept track of all those who are, so I was wondering if I'd missed something...

NOnononono!
I'm definately NOT pregnant. [Angst]

I've never really had a problem with skipping breakfast before. In fact, I often skip breakfast, or have bareley anything. But taday it just affected me for some weird reason. Maybe because I was sick last week and didn't eat much then either. [Dont Know]

If not out of concern for your actual health, you should at least consider that skipping breakfast = craving more food at night = greater likelihood of getting fat. I passed out a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't had time to skip breakfast, I had barely gotten up. But I got the room- spinny, funny sound of blood in the ears thing.

Skipping breakfast + soda = bad

At least for me anyway. I got a concussion from it.

Yeah, sorry - you don't lose weight by cutting back on your meal intake. That actually slows your metabolism down more.

And having just a soda will cause a temporary spike which absolutely sucks when coming down.

Even if its just a breakfast bar, you need something to start your internal systems processing.
