I'll just keep posting in here as I work on the formal shots.

I've figured out that your brother, when smiling, has very tiny eyes. They're OPEN, but barely. Goodness, do I have to zoom in to figure out if his eyes are open.

*shakes fist*

I have falled in love with batch processing in Adobe Photoshop CS, once I tamed it.

It likes to be RIGHT THERE IN FRONT when batch processing. If I minimize it, it gets all pissy and has errors all over the places, leaving a couple hundred giant photo files open and taking up all the RAM. *mutter*

Speaking of which, I need more RAM. *grumble*

You can have it work from a certain folder, rather than just from the files that are open.

Maybe you're doing that, though. If so, carry on.

FELL. Oops. Stupid brain.

Annie, yeah, I was working from that. It's why I was so frustrated, I was doing everything CORRECTLY and there was no reason for the errors that were logged. Till I figured out the program doesn't like to be hidden and work at the same time. *mutter*

You could ask him yourself, he's registered.

Maybe he evolved from a tribal species that was only happy when the sandstorms finally came around. So their eyes must be closed when they smile.

1. Dunno. I think the trip is supposed to be twi weeks. You could change it to a Mayfly for KrabbyPatty, she probably knows.

2. Yes. But not very often.

I believe BobnDana get back on Sunday. At least, that's what I've been telling Smokey when she whines at me. Again, KrabbyPatty would know for sure, as she keeps better track on all of us, really.

Also, I have very light-sensitive eyes and an annoying blink reflex when I know the flash is coming. The pics where my eyes aren't closed are usually either with no flash, candid shots, or when the camera is far enough away the flash isn't as annoying. My eyes are generally half-shut throughout the day anyway. But I'd bet I have better nightvision than most of you. It's sort of a trade-off.

Enigmatic, I hear ya! Almost no decent shots of me were able to be taken at the reception (and I believe three different people tried) -- my eyes kept being either closed or half-closed. >_<

Hi, Mack!

Enigmatic is right. Their plane comes in about 3:00 on Sunday afternoon. They're most likely driving back to Iowa Sunday evening, although I hope we get to hear a little about London before they leave.

We've been sending all the relatives links to your pictures . . . and are looking forward to seeing the "formal" shots.

I started another batch process around 12:30...and it's about two away from being done.

In the meantime, I wandered off to Nathan's computer and made the video for my friend leanne's wedding. It's a couple minutes long and is a "commercial" of sorts. If you watch it, you'll giggle.

I'll be uploading it shortly.

*glares at photoshop*

I should also be able to process the formal shots to web optimized goodness today. Soon, actually. Right now they're a web hating 18MB each. While that's awesome for printing, it ain't so good for downloading. [Big Grin]

You know, I have that same deal. It's kind of irritating that I can't look at anyone's faces on a sunny day. Also, it's irritating that I have to remember to turn my headlights on when dusk comes around, or people will probably hit me. [Mad] Oh well. It's nice to be able to see in the dark, and cloudy days are good too.

Just so you know, I HATE flash. HATE it. But it's a necessary evil during some lighting conditions. I love using ambient light and flash will wash that right now.

BUT. I learned a new trick that I really like. I can use the full flash but set the shutter speed at 1/15 and it picks up ambient light as well. I used it on most of the shots at BobnDana's reception and liked how most of them turned out.

Update...video is uploaded of the other wedding. Thread made.

Exporting the batch of BobnDana formals from Giant PNG to reasonable JPG size for uploading to the gallery. [Smile]
