The Sci Fi Channel has landed the repeat rights to all 15 hours of the short-lived FOX series (and basis of the upcoming "Serenity" feature film). The network's July schedule lists the series as joining its Friday lineup on July 22 at 7:00/6:00c where it will precede original episodes of "Stargate SG-1," "Stargate Atlantis" and "Battlestar Galactica."
Woo hoo! Now I can stop loaning out my DVD set...

They've been showing the reruns here in Canada on "Space" (our version of Sci fi) for a while now. I've just recently started watching it after seeing the Serenity trailer.

Supposed to be all 14 episodes, counting the pilot as one show. And, hopefully, in order this time

couldn't happen even if they wanted to...Universal now owns the rights to make new firefly stuff. Of course, they are doing it in movie form not TV form...so we will have to make due with that. I guess it is possible that it could come back on TV after Joss has finished the movie trilogy that Universal bought the rights to...but that would be years from now, and by then he might be tired of it.

Chris, can I count on you to revive this thread in July to remind me to watch this? I've been meaning to get addicted to Firefly for some time now and this will be the perfect opportunity.

I finally saw the first three episodes of Firefly recently. Wow!! I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes and the movie. The writing truly is brilliant.
