Ok, I've got the dress, the shoes, I'll get the boutonniere today, the hair stuff and everything else right? But, how in the world do I get rid of the UGLY dark circles around my eyes? Or those dastardly last minute pimples?

I got a cool concealer stick from wal-mart. It looks like a lipstick thing, but you can put it under your eyes, or over pimples, and then smooth it out. And it looks better if you put foundation over it to blend it in.

I wonder wha i'd do with out Hatrack...
Thanks. Also, are there any homeremedies for making shiny hair or something? I heard that chamomile tea on your hair for 5 minutes makes it at least one shade lighter.

It may be gross, and I've never tried it, but I've heard that preparation H is good for puffy undereye circles. [Big Grin]

I don't know about short term remedies, but I took a lot of vitamin E in the couple of weeks leading up to prom. It's supposed to make your hair and nails stronger, and make your hair shiny. [Smile]

Thermasilk or CitrusShine shampoos and conditioner will make your hair smooth and shiny for relatively cheap.

Get some of the silicone stuff, and if your hair is down, put a dime size in your hair, rub your hands together, and the put it just on the tips of your hair.

Aveda's "Brilliant" line of products are the best I have found for shiny, silky hair. They have shampoo, conditioner, and a heat-protectant spray. It's a bit pricey, but far superior to any other product I've tried. Also, Prescriptives concealer is fantastic. My sister is a Prescriptives rep, and she started working there simply because it was the best makeup she was able to find (and she did her research.) All of their makeup is really good, but the concealer is my favorite.

I read in a teen magazine that if you put a spoon in the fridge for a while and then put it on your eyes it will lower the puffiness.
[Dont Know]
I think I tried it a long time ago.. I don't know if it helped or not.

A yellow-ish concealer is good for undereye circles, while a greenish under a yellow is good for redness caused by zits. As an aside, if you often have troubles with undereye circles, Clinque sells a really good lotion-type product for puffiness and circles.

wear your hair down if at all possible, especcially if you normally do, you'll be happier, and most guys think it's prettier.

For circles: try to get more sleep (if you possibly can). I've found that a cooling gel mask can work wonders. You can find them pretty much anywhere - Target, Wal-Mart, etc. You chill it in the fridge and wear it for about 15-20 minutes. Your skin will be red from the cold for a while, but when it fades, the puffiness will be mostly gone. Another thing that's worked for me is tea bags. Not herbal, but regular. Just steep them, wait for them to cool, and put them over your eyes for 15-20 minutes.

For the blemishes: here's one of my best beauty tricks - Visine (red eye formula). It takes the redness out of blemishes just as well as it takes it out of your eyes. Put some on the end of a q-tip and dab it on the affected areas. Be sure to use a different q-tip for each area - you don't want to spread bacteria. Also, drink lots of water and stay out of the sun.

Do you have curly/frizzy hair? I use the Matrix Sleek Look system, and it is wonderful! Megan uses the Sleek Look creme and something else, ask her what it is.

Well, I'll try these things, except for the
Prep. H...that's just too gross...
Well, I will put the pictures on Foobonic, and just to tell you people, I just got the rest of my accessories yesterday!!!
My aunt got me a very pretty double dolphin ring and my mom got me earrings, a matching necklace, a very pretty pink purse, and of all the wonders in the world, MY VERY FIRST PUSH-UP BRA!!!
It worked wonders on me... We also got the buttonniere(I've got no idea how to spell this), it's a white double orchid and I am to pick it up Saturday at noon.

I heard a tea bag is good for puffyness. Although, I couldn't say for sure, I've never tried it.

For pimples, if they're red, put white toothpaste on them. It actually works. I'm not even kidding you. Let it dry and then you can wash it off.

the tooth paste. It will lower the pimple, but very little. the redness remains.

I guess it varies depending on your skin type.
