After playing 2 good games of starcraft were I defeated my friend Dan for the first time ever in an RTS (aside from CC Generals) I go down to the club rooms (this is in my college) I go down and Khan (his nickname) tells me that the gamers ckub wants to talk to me about their Risk board. Being a member of the gamers club this concerned me becuase anything that goes missing adversly affects all of us.
I head over right away and geuss what? They accuse me of stealing the Risk 2210 board! I already own 2 risk boards and I dont like 2210 so this is kinda ridiculas. Their actual wording is that i "failed to return the game", I told them (thinking this was about last semester) that I returned the board, one of the say member A that he believed that I was the last one to bring it out, from there one of them gives me 5 seconds so I leave wihtout a chance to defend myslef and member B says I'm not welcome in the clubroom anymore. They apprently decided this when I was not there in the room. Only 3 people out of who knows how many members decided this. I'm appealing to the Prez asap about this. Man this was a really crappy day.

I'd suggest that it's another "ReichstagFire": the first jerk who accused you is the one who stole it specificly for the powertrip of lying to cause you harm.

I was conspiring some form of revenge but then I realize that I still have some friends who are cool with me who might not like that. Darn by sensibilities forcing me to think of other peoples wishes. Posts: 1567 | Registered: Oct 2004

lets put this in perspective... Has anyone near you died? Have you become unemployed? Have you lost life or limb yourself? Have you been in a car wreck?

I feel bad for you on one level. This is certainly a sucky situation. On the other, by calling this your worst day ever, you make me feel envious, because to be honest, I wish I were more like you in this regard.

I haven't have any days as unforuneate as mentioned but to be put in relative to all my others days this is not only the worse but the last so far of a whole line of similar alienations at the hands of other people and I had always believed that college would be different. Geuss I was wrong, high school lasts forever.

At the time, pretty much any bad day can feel like the worst day of your life.

Thats the thing they didnt even let me defend myself, I'm appealing to the club president ASAP who wasnt there, I'm certain that he at least would've given me the chance to defend myself. Also, conveniently the people in the club who were my friends weren't there only 3-4 people and none of them are exactly friendly y'know. I smell a conspiracy here.

I think at least one of them did. I forget which one had which position. At the very least it was the club secretary which also has the ability to preside over the disciplinary council which I shall mention again I wasn't even brought to. Its like trying someone for murder without him being at his own murder trial!
