I've had my eye on this movie for years, from way back in the day when it was called Danny the Dog (a title which I prefer). It's been so long since Jet Li has made a good movie. In fact, other than Ong-Bak, it's been years since I've seen anyone make a really good martial arts movie. The trailers for Unleashed actually looked really good... but then, so did the trailers for Cradle 2 the Grave, and that movie suuuuuuuucked.
But now it's opening day, and it's sitting at 70% on rottentomatoes, which is amazing for an action movie, and I have to work all weekend and into the next week. I'm not going to be able to see it until at least next wednesday. What a complete bummer.
So is anyone going to see this one? Am I the only person here that likes a good kung fu flick? You must tell me how it turns out.

I was blown away by the trailer, and am really looking forward to seeing it. I am not usually into Jet Li movies either, although they are ok, but even my wife saw the teaser on TV last night and said she wanted to see it.
We will probably go see it Monday afternoon, as Mondays are our day off.

I may go on Saturday with my brother. I think he needs a good adrenalin movie for a cathartic release from his recent divorce trauma. I enjoy a good Kung Fu movie. I think Jet Li will deliver. I loved Ong-Bak. I am a little worried about the fight scenes in Serenity. The more I watch the trailer, the more the psychic girl looks unconvincing. I kinda wish that they stuck to her mental powers and minor physical powers (like great aim) instead of trying to create a Matrix Chick.
Of course it is only a trailer, I still anticipate the movie GREATLY. Oh yeah, we were talking about Unleashed. I can’t wait to see that too!!!!

I want to see it too. Don't know when I will get a chance. So if someone decides to tell what happens make sure that the title is adjusted to let people know that there are spoilers.
