This is a derail of the thread I shall start at some unspecified point in the future. That thread will revolve around gay marriage, in particular how it will cause more abortions because of stem cell research done by fundie-supported cretinists in Israel in order to kill Arabs.

I didn't miss any hot-button topics, did I? Oh, wait, I did. Well, fortunately this is a derail! Therefore this thread is all about who should direct the Ender's Game movie, and who should play Ender. What do you think, people? Personally I think Natalie Portman would be excellent in the role. Those of you who are going to object that a female can't play Ender clearly haven't thought about the shower scenes. Those of you who still object are just prudes.

Not a prude, not afraid to admit another woman is attractive...I just don't think Natalie Portman is.

KoM, the biggest hot-button topic you missed were Mormon posthumous baptisms of Holocaust victims. That'd really get people around here up in arms.

Actually, I was one of the people up in arms last time that came up, but I guess it didn't make so deep an impression on me as all that, since I forgot about it completely.
