It's this new photo/file sharing system I just heard about. I guess they plan to complete with Flickr and similar sites.

Anyone know anything about it?

And I'm trying to test how this works -- can you see this?

Interesting. It really is getting the file from my computer (I thought it might store shared images somewhere on its own site).

Local compugeeks, is there any way someone could use this conduit to hack into my files?

Are you positive it didn't just upload a copy to the server? What happens if your computer is off when someone tries to access your folder?

Well the URL to the image is: https://share.avvenu.com/service/1853/access/c/Documents+and+Settings/rivka/My+Documents/My+Pictures/lawyershark.jpg?view=preview

If you try to truncate that to:
https://share.avvenu.com/service/1853/access/c/Documents+and+Settings/rivka/My+Documents/

You get a permission denied error. I don't know what type of security is implemented so I really don't know how hard it is to hack in.
