[Kiss]

I'll kiss and make all better.

Run some cool water over your finger.

Do NOT apply butter; that is SO old-fashioned.

Modern folk use this.

Aloe Vera. Apply that to the burn after it cools down with either ice or cold water. Or Vitamin E ointment. Or, better yet, both.

[Kiss] Feel better.

Just to clarify: Ice should not be applied directly to a burn (wrapped in a wet paper towel or washcloth is fine), and NO form of butter/margarine/grease should be applied to a burn.

Running cold water over it for at least 5-10 minutes, while tedious, is very helpful. (I never have the patience to do it for long enough, but I do know what I'm supposed to do! [Blushing] )

Feel better, Syn!

Run under cool water for 15 minutes then , if you have it apply aloe, or, again if you have it; use an ointment for burns and keep covered (not tightly)so that nothing gets into it. If it is really bad... check with a dr. Hope you feel better soon! [Kiss] (to make you feel better!)
