Most recipes I've seen are equal parts butter and cream.
The Betty Crocker recipe I found is: 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup whipping (heavy) cream 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper Chopped fresh parsley
That recipe is designed for 6 3/4 c servings, so you'd want to double it. Depending on the structure of the meal (and your guests) you may even need to triple or quadruple it.

Amusingly Katarain I did spell it right in google but misspelled it all the times I typed it here. I think the problem was something else I'd done when searching Oh well!*sigh*
*ponders making both a lighter veggie version and a typical version w/ chicken*
It's a great easy recipie to make I highly recommend it. (even though it really is awful for you)

Well, sounds like a great night for you to invite me to dinner, Sarah. I am taking a break from Weight Watchers, and you are making a 15-pt a cup meal.
