Hey, rivka...couple things: #1: karaoke cds will play on my regular cd player. (You asked if they would, and they do work on mine.) #2: if you ever come visit me, I'll take you bumper bowling. [Big Grin]

That is so, so mean.

Also, rivka, we think of you every time we eat our Chocolate Orange Sticks. You are awesome. [Kiss]

The pineapple sticks got Emsie through a fever; we gave one to her each time she took her icky Tylenol to wash the taste down.

Sorry, I couldn't help it. I took the kids bowling last Monday, and we had fun. The kids had bumpers, I didn't, and we all tied with 63 points each! [Big Grin]

Ooh! If we stay till Monday, can we go bowling? [Big Grin] I'm sure no one will want to Sat. night, but maybe if Jeff gets an interview or two in on Monday and is feeling better, we can all go bowling!

I have one container each of orange, raspberry, and pineapple sticks.

I wanted to buy more, but then I'll eat them!

Glad you're enjoying yours. [Smile]

While we're posting messages to Rivka, I was terribly disappointed in how little I got to see of you during Dallascon...

But I must say Christian was VERY thrilled with your games... thank you very much for risking them in his somewhat excitable hands. We should find a way to get together again later. [Smile]

I know! Same here. I realized days later that I should have sat at your end of the table at dinner. Not that I didn't enjoy everyone at my end -- just that I had other chances to talk to them.

And he, like all your kids, was very well behaved, and very careful with them.

The games have survived my kids in the past (and will again, one assumes [Wink] ).

Absolutely!

*dangles lure* You know, I'm less than an hour from Disneyland. And only a couple hours from Legoland . . . (I'd actually recommend the latter more for kids the ages of yours -- sorry Ic and Cor.)

It's mutual, kiddo. But it's not MY fault you started going to sleep at a decent hour! By the time I got on AIM last night, you'd been off for 90 minutes already. [Razz]

I thought this thread would contain the musings and self-mutterings of rivka. Something to give us all another portal through which to view her soul.

Drat.

Nice echo effects though.

There is, and it's great fun. [Big Grin] We have passes this year, and I may even renew them for a second year -- despite how much I hate the drive.

Blame shmame. I actually think it's GOOD that you're getting to sleep at a decent hour. It just makes it hard to talk.

hehehe... Shinda [Smile] We should all go to the Griffith Park Observatory!

As for the CA relatives, I was born in Santa Monica and lived for a time in Imperial Beach, have an Aunt, Cousin, and Grandfather in Chula Vista, a Grandmother, Aunt, Uncle, and 4 Cousins in Burbank.

All of my immediate family and the youngest 2 of my mom's siblings are in CA. I grew up in Santa Barbara. We go out there periodically. Usually the time is absorbed with familial responsibilities/visits. But if we can tack a day or so on next time, we'll certainly alert the media!

Got to meet the Moose clan that way. And dkw and rivka got to meet...without me! [Cry]

I uninstalled it after picking up spyware associated with it.

Not that I can chat much at work, anyway. [Razz]

No, the chat is still vacant. I'm just bumping this to ask the Chatraqueros a question.

Anyone heard from DaGoat recently? Have a question to ask him regarding his part of the world.
