Today I’m turning in my two week notice since I have accepted a position with BAE Systems as a Senior Test Engineer working at the FBI facility here in WV and will begin work with them on November 7th. It’s a little less of a commute, 15 minutes to the normal 20. Plus I have a number of friends that work at the facility. So it should be nice.

Congratulations, Jay.

Miro, a Senior Test Engineer figures out very, very technical ways to test seniors:

"If Murray leaves Baltimore in a wheelchair going 3.7 miles/hour, heading east; and Sid leaves NYC in a motor home going 56 miles/hour heading west..." well, you get the picture.

Well.... I'm not 100% sure yet. But I believe I’ll be in charge of testing whatever product we’re developing. I know they do a lot with instant background checks and fingerprints at the FBI facility here. It’s the CJIS division: http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/cjis.htm Which is the Criminal Justice Information Services. I’m not sure which project I’ll be on yet or anything. But my Secret Security Clearance has been transferred. So feel free to tell me your secrets! I’ve been cleared for them.
