It's bad enough of a scare with it being explosives and all. However, did they have to bring up the Oklahoma City bombing with it? I know they were only referencing the type stolen. Letting the people know what it was.

The first link describes "seven 50-pound bags of ammonium nitrate fuel oil" , which is what blew up the OKC federal builing.
My link describes 400 lbs of plastic explosives, 2,500 detonator caps, and (from another source) 20,000 ft of explosive detonation cord. ALSO stolen from a New Mexico comapany. What on Earth is going on in New Mexico recently?
You could make some incredibly powerful bombs with this equipment.God help us all if it's a terrorist plot...

They used blowtorches to cut through trailers filled with C4 and blasting caps? If they do that we might not have too much to worry about.

Fire around C4 isn't a big worry. I've heard tales of demo men lighting a small brick of it on fire to heat their coffee pots over. Blasting caps, on the other hand... yikes!
Okay, that is some pretty scary news. I mean, chances aren't good that it was a group of rogue civil engineers needing this stuff for a tunneling project.
