This winter break I have been annoyed no end by having to remove tedious shirt collar tags from shirts which go under turtle necks, or button ups (I'm a guy). I did get one set of white cotton teas from my mom with a small painted on emblem instead of a tag. GREAT IDEA!!!!
Why does every shirt I buy have to have this horrible tag on it to itch my neck and get in the way all the time? THen when you rip them off, they ussually put a hole between the collar and the shirt, JUST GREAT
Its the year 2006. WHERE ARE THE TAGLESS TEAS????

Target and Gap both have women's tagless Ts now. And victoria's secret debuted a tagless bra this week. All have printed labels, that don't show through.
From a fabric standpoint I expect it would be easier to print on knit fabrics than to print on woven like your button ups.

I hate the shirts that have the tags on the side. I get all itchy on my ribs.
I kind of want one of those tagless bras, but I suspect they aren't sturdy enough for me. I'm hard on bras, and if they aren't substantial, they get all lumpy, and the underwire gets bent out of shape.

It was pushup and seamless, and really really fancy seeming, I'd say it's sturdy enough, but I don't know what kind you usually wear.

Hmm... cut them off? I cut a lot of tags off. Pants too, sometimes they ruin my cute underwear because the tag rubs against them constantly. Ugh. Shirt tags, bra tags... I cut them all off, unless it is expensive stuff that needs careful washing like sweaters... but those are itchy anyway. I even take off those labels on the back of jeans that tell you what brand they are, but thats purely for aesthetic reasons.

Well, my mom and I were looking at one, and it already had a crease in the cup. They have to be able to be packed in a suitcase and squished without getting malformed.
The ones I like now are the Very Sexy ones that have the double-lining on the cups, which seems to protect them more. But not having a tag would be so great.

pH... Do you wash them in the washing machine? If so, you probably need to handwash. I've had a few where that was necessary.

I was gonna say...rather than rip them, you may want to employ a lovely modern invention known as scissors.

I'm not sure which ones you mean, I'll have to look in the catalog, I know my Ipex has creased a teeny bit, but it's ok now.

I didn't know this was going to become a re-enactment of dinner conversation with my 3 sisters

Hahah well. It is. I wash my unmentionables in the washing machine on delicates or whatever gentle setting is available but I Never put them in the dryer. I think that's where the warpage occurs.

So, Orinoco, I usually wear my manly Eddie Bauer T-Shirts to the Hardware Store where I go to stock up on Lumber, and Concrete, and stuff like that... Posts: 995 | Registered: May 2003

I handwash. I think they mostly bend when I transport them somewhere because they get smashed in the suitcase. And also if I fall asleep in them because they get folded between like, the bed and my body somehow.
I think this is the only VS one I liked. It was like, malleable, but substantial enough that it wouldn't crease.

The Warrior Princess bra ought not to bend easily. But be careful washing it -- it might rust.

This quickly turned from a shirt conversation to a conversation about women's undergarments. That disturbs me slightly.

It isn't polite to roll on the floor of someone else's property. And, last time I checked, Orson Scott Card was the owner of this forum. So, what do you have to say for yourself?

If my girlfriend looked like that, I'd mention it

Buy a seam ripper if you don't like tags. You can get one at Wal-Mart or even some grocery stores have small sections with sewing materials. You can take the tags out by removing the threads with the seam ripper and it won't leave a hole.
