It is going to be clear, with highs in the 80's, so I thought we might have a picnic down at the local park or something Monday...It depends on when people get out of work, I guess.

Not sure . . . I'm working my tail off right now and I'll be lucky if I get any sleep at all between now and Monday, but I'll let you know.

Cool.....it sounds like a perfect day for it, but I will keep my eye on the weather reports as well. They tend to chage fairly frequently.
My family will be here next week, they arrive on Jan 7th for a week....my parents will be staying a litle longer than that. According to the weather reort they are brining the cold weather with them though.....mid sixties most of the time, with a high of 70.
Funny thing is that that will seem realy warm to my sister and BIL...they are from RI.

K...I sorta know where USF is. I have seen the signs for BG as well.
I have not made it out Tampa way yet, but we will be hitting the GUlf coast this spring/summer, possibly for some SCUBA lessons.

Kwea and Icarus, I really wanted to try to set something up this trip. But I actually get only one down day over my Christmas break - including weekends - other than the 4 days we were here and the 3 days in Tennessee, so I'm feeling pretty wiped right now.
Maybe after the bar exam. This place is too cool to stay away from for long.
BTW, how long does one have to live in Florida before thinking 70 is cool enough to require a jacket?

So what are you all doing on MLK day, Monday, January 16? JaneX and I will be passing through on our way back from Atlanta, most likely on that day, and are looking for a place to crash (and folks to eat dinner with ).

I doubt we can offer a place to crash--the combination of children and dogs has crimped the carefree days when we would have friends over and stay up to all hours . . . :-p
I'll let you know if we're able to do anything else--we may be celebrating our anniversary that weekend.

Anybody up for going to the Osborne Family Light Spectacle at MGM one night this weekend? This weekend is the last weekend for the year.

Icky, we are taking my family to Disnet next week, so the lights trip is a no go.
I will let you know which park we are going to, and when, as soon as I know for sure...I would love to have you meet them all, now that they aren't weirded out my all my "internet friends".....they really had a great time at the WMASS Picnic.

We'll keep it in mind. Why don't you email me your phone number (you probably still have mine from our MA visits).

I can get some discounted one day passes to Universal. ($48, which is, I believe, cheaper than the discounted rate that annual passholders can get.)
