...in spring "Dinosaurs: The Complete First and Second Season" is being released on DVD by Disney.

Ugh.

Why?!?

That show was like living proof that the Henson company lost its way without Jim.

Heh.

When the best thing I can say about the show is that Kevin Clash's performance as "Baby Dinosaur" sometimes didn't make me want to hurt someone...

It just wasn't very good.

I loved that show! I'm with breyerchic on this one. It was quality. I think that partly it was the fact that it came out while I lived in England and it was one of the few TV shows that I watched, so I have fond memories of it. (well, that and English Gladiators. Man, that show was GOOD!)

I'm gonna back up Puffy here--I'd much rather see the Muppet Show's later seasons out on DVD.

When it comes to Dinosaurs, I'm biased. I'll admit it. For one thing, it came out back when The Simpsons was still good. And it was such an obvious attempt to rip-off the Simpsons that it ended up being as annoying as heck.

(The Simpsons even had a reference to Dinosaurs a year later. Bart: "I love this show. It's like they filmed us, only as dinosaurs!")

Gladiators! I miss watching people hit each other with giant q-tips on a Saturday evening.

my favorite dinosaur episode was taking Baby to be named. There was that one elderly dinosaur naming all the dinosaur children and some dimwitted scribe in another room taking every word he says as absolute gospel..."Ugh, Ugh I'm dying you idiot" i think was what baby ended up being named as the namer died while naming him. And then the mom explaining that she grew up with a kid named "Burp...Excuse me."

teehee!
