A catch-all thread for Blayne to post in, so that he doesn't have to go to the trouble of starting a new topic every time he stubs his toe.

Blayne, you don't have to thank me. Helping other people is what we're about here.

Be nice. Let's try to help Blayne by role-modeling mentchlicheit, instead of showing him how easy it can be to step on a vulnerable person's feelings.

(oh, and my spell-checker couldn't even think of any suggestions for the word "mentchlicheit")

Oh I thought this would be a thread where WE could complain about Blayne or a thread in which we make fun of all Blayne's complaints. I am so disappointed. And then Tante shamed us all! *sniff*

I think a lot of this is mean spirited and not what makes Hatrack a fun and good place to be. [Frown]

I doubt Blayne will use it, so we can just hijack this thread for making fun of Blayne's complaints.

(I don't know what the beef is, exactly, but I'm not above making fun of people I don't know -- I'm an ass, frankly.)

I got a real complaint
How come NO ONE WANTS ME TO HAVE ANY MONEY?
The second I make more money my rent goes up, soon I have to pay student loans and my refund GOES DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY!
WHY DOESN'T THE WORLD WANT ME TO HAVE MONEY?
Don't they understand that the world and economy is better with me being able to keep more of my cash?
Just think of all the CDs I could buy and computer equipment.

The reasons I think Hatrack is good and fun are being eroded by constant whiny inanities.

Edited to wish Synesthesia had loads of money

Maybe it could be a general complaints thread for anybody who wants to have some room to gripe?

I have a complaint.

If you talk on a cell phone while placing orders, eating a meal, or otherwise interacting with human beings you are not familiar with, do me a favor and hang up. I really appreciate that you, too, feel my job is menial and that I am undeserving of your time. If this is truly the case, KINDLY step out of my line and allow one of my fine associates to assist you. Especially if you are discussing one of the following topics: Pimples, ex-boyfriends, how late you are. It is not my fault you are late and STILL insist on chitter chattering your way through the day. Do not delay ME further because of your inability to be considerate, courteous, and timely. Thank you, come again!!

I just meant that, since everyone has to vent now and then, it might be nice to have a thread for that. Then none of us will have to start new ones all the time.

Out of curiosity, I was gonna count and see how many topics Blayne had on the first page. Now one of them appears to be missing.

Blayne, I hope you aren't trying to keep below 3 threads a page by deleting them. [No No]

Oops, never mind. My counting got messed up when I assumed this one was started by him! Sorry. :laughs at self:

Hmm. This is a perfect example of why careful writing is so important. I have no idea what you are saying here, since it makes no sense as it is written. Depending on which typo you made, it could mean dozens of things.

I was kinda torn on this, mainly because Blayne's taking it with a smile, but as I've said before, threads designed to pick out and pick on one individual just aren't a part of what Hatrack is designed to be.

If someone wants to make a more general non-person-specific rant thread (where posts within are still expected to conform to the rules of the forum), feel free.
