Hello all! I haven't been posting much recently, but I think I'll break that trend in order to bring one of Hatrack's favorite things: PICTURES!
Some of you may remember me posting a couple months back about getting a renaissance-style prom dress. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed, and then the place went out of business. But, I did find a very pretty blue dress. I went with a group of friends: My best friend Erin, her boyfriend Josh, one of our mutual friends Julia, and one of Erin's best friends Chrissy(who I'm now very good friends with- she's an INCREDIBLE person). After the dance, instead of going to Afterprom, the four girls spent the night at Chrissy's house, listening to music and drinking Bawls. Overall, an incredible night.
Unfortunately, I only have one good picture of the group, and no individual photos. Enjoy!
Also, we were the center of attention when we went to the mall for dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. Josh was the object of every guy's jealousy, because, as our waiter put it, he was "quite the pimp, takin' four chicks to prom!" I also drew a bit of the crowd when I fulfilled my lifelong dream and played DDR in a prom dress. I took the heels off, though.
Anyway, I thought some people on here would be interested, and I know there are a few other High Schoolers out there who might be willing to share prom stories, so I figured I'd start a thread for ir. Have fun!

Some schools have them very early (I think Ivygirl's was in early april, I remember some mention of that) my old school has theirs in very late may (may 20th this year).
Tinros, you guys were adorable. Its cute that you have similar colored dresses.

Graduation is May 20th this year- they're extending the summer(next year's school starts later and ends in June) to finish construction- we're getting a bunch of add-ons to the main building, and they can't have students in the building while they're working on it.
The dress color was completely accidental. No, seriously. We all got our dresses at different times and places. Pretty funny.

Peerrrtttyyyy. That's awesome, playing DDR. lol. At the prom I went to, I had a feeling I'd get bored, so I brought along a deck of cards and started playing poker with my date and some other friends. It was cool. Posts: 2827 | Registered: Jul 2005

Have you lost some weight? You look amazing. I hope you had a good time. My prom was a night to remember (wow, that sure sounds cheesy).
