My laptop is giving me crap. Every time I try to start it, it gives me a series of beeps in the sequence 1-3-3-1. I researched this and I think it may be the DRAM, but people keep saying that it could also be the video card. I think it may be that it's a little dirty, since it's really easy to get laptops dirty. Ahyhoot, I was just wondering if any of you guys knew anything about computers and what this problem could be. Aside from the beeps, my laptop won't turn on the screen. Those are pretty much the only symptoms because I don't think there is anything wrong with the disk drive, the hard drive or the fan. Those seem to be working properly. I'll be taking it to Toshiba this weekend, since it's still under warranty. I've not had this computer for too long so I don't think the problem should be too bad.

Laptops are a lot harder to find what is wrong then desktops. Screen problems do seem to be one the more frequent problems. Glad it’s still under warranty, that’ll be your best bet and anything else could endanger that warranty and just be a major headache.
