Bob, I'd rather if all the really bad people were to disappear. You'd think a good God could pull that off, no?

How odd would it be if today really was the day? I mean, it would be terribaly ironic and a great display of human emotion if all of us sat here and made jokes about it... and then it really happend. We spend most of the day, and week in advance, talking about the humor of the day and some people even discussing the significance, but ultimatley not many of us thinking it will really happen. What would you think in that final moment when it started and you're left thinking "Oh man, it is really happening tonight." We probably woudln't even be left with the time to think about all the things we should have been doing, instead of cracking jokes. I'll see you later, I'm gonna go see the Omen and then probably drive up to Hell, Michigan.

It's good to know the lord of darkness is confinded to a 24 hour deadline. Atleast we have another century to live it up and then either make fun of it, or ask our confessions.
P.S. - keep in mind, I say this all in good humor not out of any real opinnion.

Did anyone actually go to see The Omen today?
I'm not honestly sure I heard any positive things about it. Just that if won't ever be as good as the first. But you hear that for every remake

Actually, we probably only have to wait another 18 years. See, he was probably born today and his training will take at least 18 years. Heck, he can't even vote until then. (On the other hand, given the penchant for the theatrical in most Christian myth, it's probably more likely he won't actually start his "ministry" until he's 30.)
