My girlfriend, who has been out of the country for a month and lives in a different city during the school year, just called and asked me to come to a "Harry Potter feast" (I am not allowed to make fun of the food). I am now insanly giddy and full of joie de vie. [ROFL] [Big Grin] [The Wave]

How is she going to make the food transform into the next course like they do in the books/movies?

Pixiest, I have a friend, who is a girl with whom I share many interests and to whom I am very attracted, and I flatter myself in thinking she feels the same. Neither of us formaly dates either eachother or anyone else, but I am certainly the biggest male prescence in her life other than her father.

P.S., she said today that se wants to study Mediaeval literature at Oxford.

You know, I always thought pumpkin juice sounded sort of nasty. I'm curious though and hope you share how it all goes.

Sounds yummy!

wants to study...at Oxford.
What is up with Oxford?! Is it truly the be-all end-all of human civilization and learning? Can I still ascend to a higher plane of existence if I don't go to Oxford? Am I missing out on a shiny glow that my diploma just won't bestow upon me?

(Also: What's wrong with Cambridge? They have punts!... is this about the boat races? Cambridge doesn't always come second, you know.)

So what is a "Harry Potter feast" like? Have you already gone and can describe it for us? Or is it upcoming yet?
