I got the job offer from Ocala, and today I am looking at houses. I am so excited, but it is scary at the same time.
The official offer should be made today. I just called my Store Manager and left a message telling him to call as soon as he knows anything.
I went up an introduced my wife last week, and it went well. I am really looking forward to working there, and can't wait to get started.

Is it in the big mall there? We went past it but didn't do much shopping during spring break. My mom's friend's house is in Silver Springs, which put us pretty much in the middle of everywhere, and we got to go see a huge horse show at Live Oaks farm.
It's possible we'll be back in that area sometime in the next year.

Yeah...I wouldn't call the Paddock Mall huge, but it is the largest mall in Ocala.
My wife and I went to look at houses today, and Kevin (VelourMan) went with us. He was a huge help, and we really enjoyed looking at houses. It is scary, but in a good way.
The offer was a little bit lower than expected, but it still was a good offer, so I accepted it.
I just can't wait to get started. I think I start next week, I just have to wait for the credit check and background check to go through.

Congratulations Kwea! I might be spending an afternoon in Ocala this weekend ... I suppose you wouldn't be there then. And it might not happen anyways. But one of these days I'll make it to that mall ... though I suppose you won't have a nametag with "Kwea" on it, will you? lol. Anyways, congrats.

Congratulations Kwea! I understand Ocala is a great place to live.

I got the job offer yesterday, and it is a good one. Now all I need to do is have them send an electronic notification to my account at work so I am autherize them to check my credit and criminal record....I don't have a record, so that isn't a problem. I don't have good credit though, so that might be a problem. I doubt it though, I have repaired my credit quite a bit in the past three years.
I still haven't gotten the electronic notification as of right now, but I will keep looking for it today. The sooner I send that approval back to tehm the sooner I can get started up there. Posts: 15082 | Registered: Jul 2001
