As those who are familiar with the book can see, the film will actually depict the vivid fantasy world Jess and Leslie create to deal with their rather unhappy mundane lives.
Those not familiar with the book will probably get the wrong impression. Grrrr.
Still, I'm looking foreward to it.

I agree with Strangelove here. I think BTT will be a very difficult book to turn into a movie, and I hate it when they butcher them. I was rather disapointed with what Disney did to the Narnia movie itself. I think they changed things that didn't NEED changing in order to add "more excitement" and in the process lost alot of the message.

Leaving aside the pros and cons of changes made during the transition from book to film, Disney was not responsible for any of the changes seen in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Walden Media was.

Whew yeah it was! That was the first book I cried over. Took me months to even finish it. I was so depressed at *that* point that I just threw the book off my bed and couldn't pick it up for a long time.
I was a sensitive kid, what can I say .

I'm the same as JTK. I can't remember anything except for the ending. I think I need to go back and read this one again, if I can get my hands on it, that is.
