I am taking the LSAT this October and I was curious if anyone on Hatrack has taken the LSAT or been to law school for that matter.

I'm currently in law school.

Good luck on the LSAT

I took the LSATs twice, back around 1984 or so.

Fordham is a good school, but from what I have heard they produce a lot of corporate lawyers for New York. That is of course not intrinsically bad or anything, more of an observation.

So far on my timed pre-tests I've gotten from 166-172, so hopefully as time goes along I will continue to do better. Right now I am shooting to go to Georgetown, UVA, Cornell, Duke, University of Minnesota, or William and Mary. They are all rather competitive, so hopefully I do not drop the ball in October.

I'm interested in a job in NY. We'll see if I go corporate.

Your scores are good. Good luck!

I took the LSAT last year, didn't do as well as I would have liked (but not bad, per se), and decided not to study and take it again, since law school was only my back up plan anyway.

Right now I'm studying for the GRE.
