So ya, there's this game called "Horizons: Empire of Isteria" I wanna try out the free trial but I need a credit card and I dont have one, any chance anyone can help me out? Like sign up for me and give me the information and then cancel like 1 day before the free trial ends?

Not that I would even do such a thing, but for my own curiosity I can't even FIND the game you're refering to.

To be fair, Blayne was not asking for credit card details, just the account details at the Hysterical People's Republic, or whatever the name was.

Blayne, do you have a checking account? Go open one and get a debit card and use that. (You're over 18, right?)

Those free trials are traps...I know they do it to keep people from just getting free trial after free trial, but it's also the kind of thing that you can forget about until the charge starts showing up on your bill.

Wow, the back and forth in this thread is precious.
I will make a short film set to the "notable characters" of Hatrack, and this will be a good flavor scene.Posts: 1236 | Registered: Mar 2002

Can't you like, get one? Or like, get your parents to do it?
What makes you think that we would give you our personal information so easily?
Lastly, is this like, a joke?

Um, you can download it and enter a promotion code. The download is 1Gb, and I'm not about to wait for that and see if that's enough to play.

I think you're trying to imitate Blayne here, but it's way closer to your style than it is to his.
I loves me some irony after a long night of doing whatever it is that I do.

Go to MoneyMart and put $10 on a prepaid mastercard. The prepaid ones are indistinquishable from the regular type, then you will have your very own number.

This thread could be a sort of Jeff Foxworthy-esque joke about knowing when you play too many computer games.
If you're begging on internet forums for people to sign you up for free trials to games...you're a gamer-addict.

Actually, I wasn't trying to imitate his style. I was just trying to bring out a mock tone.

and why would it be acceptable to mock me?

Come, people. Blayne wasn't asking for anything more than a moment or two of your time. Of course, he shouldn't be playing heretical games made by companies that aren't Paradox, but that's a separate issue.
