I seem to recall there being several websites that had logins that you could use for newspapers that make you register before you can view articles online. Or did Hatrack have one? There's a Wall Street Journal article I need to see for a case study, but I don't know if it's subscription-only or if you just need to register. Either way, it won't let me see it.

and if you use firefox there's a bugmenot addon that makes it so all you have to do is right click in the login area and it fills in the information for you automatically, saving you the effort of having to actually go the website and search for the particular login you need.
