I like the style. But the picture isn't doing it for me. It's too plain.
Ooooo, Harrison Ford and a flaming skull. It leaves something to be desired (to me, at least).

However, it's only a teaser poster. So, maybe subsuquent posters will be more satisfying.
Conversely, it doesn't achieve quite the anxious-ness and excitement that most teaser trailers are designed to provoke in movie go-ers.

I actually love the poster. I think it's note-perfect, and hope the film's as true to that feel.

Thus the finer points of advertising. Nothing you do will be universally loved. And nothing you do will be universally hated. It doesn't matter so long as it makes money.

Its' certainly a look back to the older poster styles, and I really like it. I'm guessing they'll do another poster that actually has all or most of the actors in it, which will be interesting.
I didn't realize it was coming out so soon. May is going to be an amazing month for movies.

My own thought on the poster: I was only thirteen the last time I saw an Indiana Jones movie in the theaters. I'm now thirty-one. A little nostalgia lacing the teaser campaign is probably a good thing. Posts: 6689 | Registered: Jan 2005
