For those who have not heard, Wally Shirra died today. The story does not say of what, but being 87 I don't suspect foul play.
Wally Shirra was the fifth man in space, the only man to command three types of space vehicle, and the only to fly in Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo missions.
There are only two of the original seven astronauts still alive today.
