I was looking at iTunes today, and saw something absolutely gut-wrenching and horrible. Guess who's making a comeback. . . We so need a vomit smiley right now.
What are some others?

I thought Donnie Walberg was too respectable now for that crap.
What's weird about the Walbergs is that they are so captivating as actors, it's amazing that they ever held on to the pop personas they were assigned as singers- those being the phoniest and least interesting aspects of their public life.

Incidentally, the single is utterly terrible.
In this day and age, there's no reason why a song has to sound this bad- just from a purely technical standpoint, it's a disaster.
My notes are: WAY overproduced, way under composed, and thin and insubstantial as a rice-wafer.
Also, they're tapping into the god awful voice filter fad that's ten times worse than when it was popularized by Britney Spears and Madonna. Um, guys, you have actual voices! You are supposed to be professional singers? Why would you insist on using a crappy effect that makes your track sound like its being played through a defective speaker?

I was worried that link would be about Duran Duran, though I have to admit, I did try to call in on the radio contest for tickets yesterday (which I never do otherwise). I think they are just touring for old times sake, though, not trying to make new songs. Could be wrong.

How has Creed not stayed dead? Three members of the band don't want to have anything to do with the fourth anymore.

Well, seeing as how they're on life support, and I would guarantee that the new album is going to be terrible, they might as well count.

Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, My Chemical Romance, Boys Like Girls, and Good Charlotte
Oh, wait...they didn't actually break up. That was just wishful thinking on my part...
Though, blink-182 did break up. And they don't really need to get back together. A couple of their songs are ok, but most of them sound exactly the same.
EDIT:
I'm very pleased that The Who did not remain dead however.

Whatever PC, if I recall, I told you I liked their old stuff (pre-human clay), and that was in middle school, 10 years ago. You're never going to let me forget that conversation are you?
I'm sure we all have had guilty pleasures at some point.
I mostly like early to mid 90's stuff these days. (Alice in Chains, Bush, STP, Nirvana etc)

Panic is only on their second major label record, and I actually like "9 in the Afternoon," the first single off of it.
Boys Like Girls only has one cd and they've only even been a band for a couple years.
If your point however is that they're all fairly interchangeable, and their music, while catchy at times, is far from memorable, then yeah, I agree.
