Is there someone out there who will convert one file for me? I don't want to buy or download any special software. I believe it can be done if you have Adobe Standard 7.0 (apparently not free) or Adobe Professional (not free either), but I'm not entirely sure.

Is it text? If so, and you don't care about formatting, simply choosing the text option, highlighting, and copy/paste to Word will do the trick. That's what I usually do. (Although I use Foxit, not Adobe Reader.)

If that's not enough, I'm afraid I can't help -- I don't have any of the necessary programs. Given that it's Friday afternoon and people are more likely to have 'em at work than at home . . . [Dont Know]

I have Acrobat 7.0 Professional. E-mail it to me and I'll convert it for you. It may screw up the formatting, though, but I don't think there's any way around that.

Yeah, I do care about formatting. It is a job application. If I don't get a response through the weekend, I will bump it Monday morning. Thanks, though!

Well, you can copy-paste and then reformat it.

Or, of course, you can just print it and fax it if it's a job application.

If the issue is being able to type on blanks in an existing PDF, Foxit (which is free) can do that. Hey, apparently 2.0 does text conversions too!

I'll have to remember to update what I have at work.

Do the on-screen rendering still look like crap in 2.0?

Given that I apparently never had the problem you're talking about, I have no idea.
