Where I am known as Anglachel, we are having a lively debate on what was banned here.

Well nuts to you.

You'd do better in all this, (still not well, but peddling lies can be rough) if you took part in the rest of the community here before you try to discuss your pet theory. That was why your thread got shutdown. (I'm assuming, you started with no real discussion and a link to your blog. As your first post, yeah that's spam.)

You look less like a spammer since you didn't use 'the dedalus game' as your user name.

HollowEarth has it exactly right, a single link for the first post ever is the hallmark of a very uncreative spammer. You managed to post 200+ times over at Ornery.

Which is exactly why I didn't dismiss him as a spammer over there when I saw the thread on Ornery, honestly.

~speaking as an Ornery member~

Responding to something said over at ornery, given that mathematically based theories can actually make predictions, and your theory can't, I'd say the relative utility has been amply demonstrated. Physicists don't make theories just to here themselves talk (that's only part of it [Wink] ), they make theories to be tested, and by being tested suggest their strength and accuracy.

I apologize if I misconstrued your intent, dedalus/Anglachel. Your post appeared to be spam. Heck, if you'd registered as Anglachel here, I probably would have let it go (though you still may not have gotten a very positive response given the tone of your first post -- though that's just a guess), partially because I would have recognized that name from Ornery as well. (This should not be construed as a request for you to re-register under a different name.) We've had a rash of spammers lately, and I may have jumped the gun a tad.

I'd still agree with the above posters both that a different method would have been more effective, and that the topic was not in fact banned. Heck, I didn't even lock the thread, and I invited you to stay.

Welcome to Hatrack. You are wrong.

Oh, wait -- forget that last part.

I don't like it when people use different names on Hatrack and Ornery and then turn the fact that they refer to the same person into an open secret. Then people start making references to things the double-named person did on the other forum and confuse the rest of us.

Shouldn't that post be followed by "By the way, isn't that katharina as smart as she is beautiful?" [Razz]
