Might have been more exciting if Shia hadn't injected the instahype into his announcement. The title sounds really old fashioned, like something you'd get back when Indiana Jones was in full stride, so while it seems a bit cheesy NOW, I like it.

Except I'm going to be waiting for them to hop through the Stargate to see the giant talking heads.

I wouldn't be surprised though to see the plot of IJ4 revolve around the same thing though. Crystal Skulls are part of a modern legend, there's supposed to be several of them hidden around the world or something, and they have some sort of supernatural powers. If it does, I think it'll fit perfectly within the IJ legacy.

I was fully expecting Indiana Jones and the Deathly Hallows.

I'm somewhat disappointed.

My hopes of seeing The Fate of Atlantis remade into a movie have just been dashed to pieces. [Frown]

I don't know what to make of the title, it seems just a titch lengthy IMO.

BTW I am SO glad I talked myself out of buying the Indiana Jones box set when it came out, now I just have to wait for the reissue complete with fourth movie (assuming it's good) and whatever extra bonus features are on the new bonus DVD.

Oh, hey, I just noticed. Galadriel--I mean, Cate Blanchett--will be in the movie too.

Carrie--speaking of Daniel Jackson, how about Indiana Jones and the Stargate for a movie title? If anyone should have found the stargate, it should have been Indy!

Wow, talk about a megabucks merger of franchises! They'd make billions! And billions!

Are the MTV Video Music Awards really the time and place(target audience) to release the title of the last Indiana Jones flick?

It would have to be the Stargate of something, like the Stargate of Doom.

Couldn't it be Indiana Jones and the Gateway to the Stars?

In French I think the series is called La Porte d'Etoiles, which would be, very roughly, Door of Stars, but probably Gateway to the Stars, or Stargate, would be closer.

Frankly...I think it'd be sweet. But Teal'c and Colonel Carter can't be in it. Has to just be Jack, Daniel, and Indy. And all three of them get a girl when they get to the other side.

Indiana Jones and the Doorway to Heaven.

That way, we can recreate the Stargate movie (where Daniel figures out how to use what Indy cannot), except better. [Smile]
