That is awful, but really, it was the fall that killed Mayor Bajwa, not the monkeys. Rhesus macaques can be really mischevious but were probably just looking for food and startled the poor guy.

I guess Hanuman wasn't happy with him.

Have I mentioned we have a couple of monkeys living in our neighborhood? They climb around from house to house on the power lines, or swing around using the trees.

Which is why it doesn't surprise me that this happened.
