Yo, I want to share my work with other people but it seems that the exe in the debug folder doesn't work on a machien without the nessasary files, how would I compile the project and export a executable file that anyone can use?

Do searches on shared libraries on Windows, as well as static and dynamic linking.

Your IDE very likely has a 'production' build option, see if that helps.

You using MFC? In the project's properties, there's an option to "statically link" the libraries or use a DLL. Use the static link; it'll make the EXE larger, but at least it's portable.

If you're using an education version, or a non-commercial version, there may be limitations there.
