Along time ago, here at Hatrack,
I stated that I believed the Dragon/Beast spoken of
in the Bible is the Global Stock Market.

It is more powerful than Nations and can destroy populations with the sweep of its tail.

I find it useful to use the Quatrains of Nostradamus to help in Decoding the Book of Revelation.

"To the great one of Ceramon-agora,
The crusaders will all be attached by rank,
The long-lasting Opium and Mandrake,
The "Raugon" will be released on the third of October."

century: 9, quatrain: 62

The TARP-Bailouts-0% Interest-Helicopter money drops began on October 3rd, 2008, making Ben Bernanke the most powerful man on the planet.

It is as if all the evil spirits of History are alive again and their all in Politics or the Banking Cartel.

Heaven help us all.

no. hatrack does not need more crazy. this is serious advice: if you have meds, please start taking them again or ask for an increase in dosage. If you are not on meds, please have this discussion in the office of a psychotherapist about all this whole dragon/beast/stock market thing. You are unhinged and it does you no good to turn that into prodfests on an internet forum.

Samprimary, perhaps I could use your religion as a sedative for critical thinking? You come off as an (unhappily) married atheist/evangelical.

I believe the book on the Secret Societies that JFK was talking about before he got killed date back 50 years in the description of how a global cartel of bankers are trying to bring about an economic collapse which leads to a one world currency (SDR) and a one world government.

How far are we away from a Global Currency?

Ben Bernanke, the ECB, Geithner and the IMF are talking it up as we speak.

The Isle of Scotland will be tried by frost:
King and "Reb" will face an Antichrist so false,
That he will place them in the conflict all together."

Frost = Credit Freeze.
Leading to an eventual
currency war

Cool, because I'm pretty much the opposite of that. A ridiculously happy, successful person living the life of riley and a league away from monogamous paternalism. But that's pretty much irrelevant. Think I'm kidding or in any way insincere about, say, talking about medication and psychotherapy? If you aren't trolling, and I don't think you are, you need help, not to be ranting about your fomg quatrains of nostradamus great one of Ceramon-agora explains the modern-day economic situation. I can't put it lightly. I don't care if it's ableist, which it is, for me to say it. There's an elephant in the room . you need help, not an audience to your disjointed ramblings on a forum which has had its fill of that.

And, lest I come across as one of those natting agents of stigmatization towards psychotherapy and medication: no. I am wholly for its destigmatization. it's a serious thing you should seriously consider. I don't throw it out as an insult like 'hurr u am need crazy pills.' Don't be made to feel like you're being 'imprisoned' or being 'made lesser' for it. It's something you seriously need. Sorry.

If you had a swamp, you could call that swamp a mire.

And if that mire were on fire, you could call it a fire mire.

And if the fiery mire...
... were filled with creatures ever so dire...
...you'd call it a Dire Fire Mire.

And suppose you had a flat tire
on the road near the Dire Fire Mire
and you got out of your car and saw a man named Oscar Myer
and you said "Hey Oscar Myer! I have a flat tire!"
And he's say "yup!"
And you'd say "true story!"

And then you might inquire of Oscar Myer if he had any method by which to acquire an additional tire and he would sadly look out into the endless depths of the Dire Fire Mire and point to a distant spire and say: "A top of the Dire Fire Mire Spire is indeed a sacred tire. But right now you aren't wearing quite the right attire to descend into the Dire Fire Mire and I don't mean to imply... er, well honestly you look pretty poor and you can't quite afford the right attire."

"Well what kind of attire is that?" You might ask

"Dire Fire Mire Attire, of course."

"Oh."

But you simply must have the tire so you descend into the Dire Fire Mire without the proper attire and you eventually reach the Spire and you climb and climb and climb and finally you reach the top of and you find...

That Oscar Myer was just a liar, and there is no Dire Fire Mire Spire Tire.

Just a pair of pliers.

Which doesn't help. At all.

And then on the way back down you trip over a wire and fall and die but because your story was so beautiful that you inspired an epic ballad, to be sung by the Dire Fire Mire Spire Choir.

The end.

So if the global currency, the Dollar, collapses doesn't this bring about a period of Lawlessness across the planet?

Didn't the entire global economy grind to a halt in 2008?

Hasn't every fiat currency in the History of Mankind hyper-inflated and failed?

Have you ever read The Holy Bible or The Book of Revelation?

I think your issue is that you believe it makes someone insane to attempt to decode the Book of Revelation, but that is exactly what it asks for. You neither mention if you're Evangelical, meaning Only the ONE Church (yours) is allowed to decode the Bible, or you're an athiest, meaning you think the idea of God the Divine Architect is insane.

You come off as very self centered.

It's not necessarily insane to try to decode the book of revelation. I mean, you are, but it doesn't have to be related to that at all.

So, if I've got this right, I either have to be an evangelical or an atheist? You sure about that? [Smile]

To you, I also exhibited traits of being unhappy and married and either being an evangelical or an atheist, so to save time just know that everything you have surmised about me has been profoundly wrong and there's no more need to try to shift the discussion to what I am or am not. But if it helps you, I'm also not gay, a scientologist, a woman, allergic to shellfish, or french. This may narrow down your intuitions in the future!

I'm totally being counterproductive by engaging. Hey, let's keep it simple. You need help. You also don't need to be posting this stuff because it's all loony disjointed rantings. That's all.

These aren't incoherent ramblings.
While the American population is so entertained with
it's modern sarcasm and cleverness,
NERO is reborn and he's conquering countries
without any resistance because everyone is so
comfortable with their possessions and positions.

Oh, yes. To you. These Central Banks can continue to endlessly
just print money and pour endless streams of cash
into the banks who will then pay off their 'bad bets' to themselves with the working classes money, assets and future.

I need help?

WTF Are you a goddamn dog, and Hatrack is the Tree you pissed on, so now that I'm sniffing around it, you're barking and barking and barking and barking at me?

Hey.

Ok.

Yeah.

Hatrack is your tree. You pissed on it first and most. Bark. Bark. Bark.

Ok. Now I got it. You're just like a dog. Dogs don't understand Economics or Divine Physics. And little dogs bark at Tall fast moving creatures.

Ick. I hate cookies with nuts in them. Except for windmills, with the little slivers of almond. I don't know why that's an exception for me. I don't even like brownies with nuts. Not that I mean to derail the cookie discussion with brownies, but sometimes the line between them is kind of thin. Like, if you make pan cookies, are they brownies (or blondies), or cookies?

And I agree about the girl scout cookies, with one exception. Thin Mints. No bakery that I've ever seen can reproduce those.

Tom. I hug Thee. I appreciate your concern, my friend.

I understand that people put blind faith into things.
Like religion, the government or the economy.
As a writer, I've been forced to ask myself,
what happens when they all fail at once?

Wether or not it was a waste of time is moot.

We're all about to find out.

Our economy is not sustainable.

The global economy is not sustainable.

The Federal Reserve has locked us into 0% interest rates
and perpetual Quantitative easing until the wheels come off and
society as we know it gives up the ghost.

This is simple math. Simple logic.

Ignoring a disease is never a way to cure it.

Oh. Hey. Check out this little tidbit, fresh off the press....

" Between Oct. 2008 and Oct. 2010 the commission approved euro4.59 trillion in state aid for the financial sector, the commission said. "

AND, the ECB has now announced they are going to continue to pump more trillions through the end of next year, they've announced to help calm the markets and to fight the 'Bond Vigilantes'. And I quote "To help return the markets to normal."

I agree with Rivka that Ray wins the thread. That was a clever work of art. Or an artful work of cleverness.

To Danlo the Wild, I would quote what the Apostle Peter said about the interpretation of Bible prophecy: "First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." (2 Peter 1:20, 21; NRSV)

The conclusion I draw from this is that the only way to rightly interpret Bible prophecy is to follow these three rules:

(1) All prophetic symbols must be defined by Scripture alone. We can do this, because the prophets “spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2 Pet. 1:21) Thus prophecies written a thousand years apart in different languages, can still be relied upon to be consistent in the meaning of the symbols used, because they all come from One Divine Mind. This is one of the strongest evidences for the divine inspiration of the Bible—that this works! One Divine Mind is in evidence over all. An example of the way prophetic symbols are defined in Scripture is seen in Revelation 17:15 (NIV): “Then the angel said to me, "The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.”

(2) The prophecies must be applied to history, during the time periods context indicates to us that they apply. This is seen in the prophecies of Daniel (see for example Daniel 8:20-26, where the angel speaking to Daniel names the nations in historical sequence that correspond to the symbols).

(3) We must be careful in understanding whether something is literal narrative, or symbolic. One of the most simple methods of doing this is to ask ourselves if what is described CAN reasonably be literal. If most likely not, then we should expect it to be figurative and symbolic. Also we should note if an image or statement is specifically defined as symbolic or is used frequently as a prophetic symbol or metaphor in other places in the Bible.

Thus, as far as possible, we are actually to allow the Bible to interpret itself. Anything else is a private interpretation, forbidden by the Apostle Peter.

The Federal Reserve announces today who they've given $3.3 Trillion dollars to as "Aid" in the last two years.

$700 Billion for TARP.
$1.7 Trillion for MBS purchases
$3.3 Trillion in Aid
$900 in Quantitative Easing II

$6.6 TRILLION given to the banks in the last two years.

This isn't counting the M3 window.

This isn't "The End is nigh!"

This is unholy crap, Americans might be the stupid form of people ever to walk the Earth.

A single generation just let the ENTIRE NATION
and it's future get GRIFTED.

And all it needed for the Big Con was American Idol and Dancing with the stars.

I've read a lot of books on the Illuminati. I've enjoyed reading them. I don't believe one thing in them, but they are interesting. Funny, most of the Illuminati writings end up near books about Hitler's secret UFO programs or the Philidelphia Experiment. I'd be curious to know what Thor thinks of those. Afterall, if those are true Hitler is living in an underground civilization whose entrance can only be found in Antarctica

The film is currently in limbo due to MGM's financial troubles though...

I sort of operated under the assumption that Danlo was messing with us for his amusement. But that mostly was because the alternative was too bizarre and frightening.

You guys should spend more time looking into the data that was released this week on the Federal Reserve's $9.9 Trillion dollar bailout programs over the last 2 years.

Don't you think it is important to know that the Fed gave FREE MONEY in the TRILLIONS to corporations (Harley Davidson, McDonalds, GE), hedge funds (Goldman Sachs, PIMCO), the Big Banks and to Europe's banks????

This doesn't even count TARP, QE1, The Stimulus, QE2, or the M4 window.

It's like im in a camp of people who've never known of a world outside of their own remote village.

Oh, yes, I'm such a fool for saying the World Economy will crash.

Obviously, Bush/Obama/Paulson/Geithner/Bernanke have your best interests at heart and will fix this problem for the good of all mankind!

Sure! We're in debt 14 trillion.
Sure! The Treasury has printed 20 trillion more.
Sure! Every fiat currency has collapsed.

I'm a moron!

I never said I was the greatest screenwriter in the world.

I did say I could write a better screenplay of Ender's Game than anyone else. Oh, yeah I was wtfpwnd by the guy who wrote the homosexual wolverine solo movie.

I will repeat myself: seek professional help. Seriously. You are not in a healthy place, and haven't been for a while.

Part of me feels like giving Thor a little leeway in the creation of these threads as I've read them for years.

But threads like these are no better than spam, and they serve no positive purpose other than to give Thor a place to write his frenzied thoughts.

I'm locking this thread.
