I'm displaying my ignorance, but I don't know much about the man except that he once filmed himself trying to buy a cow in Old English. I was pretty impressed.

I like this move. His voice is very close to what I pictured Reepicheep sounding like.

I think Eddie Izzard will be great. And I'm glad he's getting more parts in movies.

Great video, Eqauae. When I lived in Germany, I was in a part where Low German (Plattdeutsch) is still used quite commonly as a colloquial. It's very close to Dutch, Frisian, and Old English, so the bit I picked up allowed me to understand almost all of the film.

Also the official site has gotten "Caspian-ized".

I always imagined his voice like Warwick Davis for some reason...

Nah, we now know that Warwick Davis sounds more like Nikabrik.

See, I know what Warwick Davis looks and sounds like, and yet still all I can see and hear is Wicket when I hear his name.

He's got to tone down the smarminess to pull off Reepicheep. And I say this as a great fan of his smarminess.

Does he have a good range as a performer? I haven't seen much of his stuff.

All I can think of now (and quite probably for the entirety of the PC movie) are "strategic sheep purposes."
