I imagine it's probably something Caspian's tutor (who was a closet dwarf, if you recall) told him during the lessons in which he informed Caspian of what was really going on in their kingdom.

I love the little Reepicheep at the bottom. Nice!
Maybe they can go for a less is more approach and just say "CHANGE!" but with fancier fonts and colors and such. Really do a job of it.

I don't remember there being a big battle, just a square off between Peter and Miraz. I also thought Caspian was blonde.

The book describes several battles between Caspian's outnumbered army of Old Narnians with Miraz's vast number of Telmarine soldiers.
Including a second Battle of Beruna after the Peter/Miraz fight.
They didn't cast a blond actor.
There's a big battle once Peter beats Miraz. I didn't it was THAT big, though.
Well...I'll put it this way: Aslan awakens the tree spirits, the river spirits, summons several potent pagan nature deities...Lewis describes some pretty remarkable, awe-inspiring things in that battle. Posts: 6689 | Registered: Jan 2005

Silver Chair was my favorite, but VDT should be the most visually impressive. But I kind of have a thing for ships and deep blue water, picturesque islands, and, of course, dragons.

I am curious to see if they will do all seven books.
I have never been a fan of Silver Chair, but I listened to an audio version of it recently and the guy that does the swamp wiggle thingy's voice was very good, gave me a new impression of the book.
The Last Battle would be a great visual stunner as well, at the end in particular.

I like that he put more proactive, fully-dimensional female characters into the post-Treader books. Not that I hate the earlier Narnia stories. By no means. But it's definitely a turning point.
Of course, the strongest female Lewis characters don't appear until one reads Till We Have Faces.

I agree about Dawn Treader, but feel compelled to add that the best scene in the series is actually in The Silver Chair when Jill meets Aslan. Lewis really makes his very difficult distinction of "Good but not Safe" crystal clear in that one.
Till We Have Faces vies with Perelandra in my mind as the best Lewis book ever.

If they were to make The Space Trilogy into full-length films, I would be very, very happy. I don't care what OSC's take on the series is, I loved the books. I mean, Out of the Silent Planet is absolutely beautiful. It's his most visually stunning series.
Merlyn rocks, too. That's a high point of the series.

The Silver Chair was always my favorite, but VDT was quite good.
We were also speculating on whether they will do all 7. The timing of VDT and TSC will be dictated by the ages of the actors. I'd imagine they wind up producing things in the order they were published, though I guess doing TMN first would give Susan and Lucy some time to age before TH&HB.
