Yup.

One would think this would be a hard movie to mess up. If it plays like just a big, dumb cartoon toy commercial, then it's only being faithful to the source material. [Big Grin]

Then again, I thought that about Transformers before it came out. Hopefully they won't decide this flick also needs a bunch of brand new "human interest" characters. [Wink]

Sure to be his greatest role since playing "Snails" in the D&D movie!

You're right. Nothing can top playing an extremely clumsy, effeminate thief.

Drat! Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were SO much cooler when they worked together.

Who in their right mind would cast Marlon Wayan in any movie? I guess he could play Roadblock.

I'm pretty sure Marlon Wayans can't play anybody.

Damn. Sweet photos.

You think Sgt. Slaughter will reprise his role as Sgt. Slaughter?

Yeah. It's surprisingly close to recreating the original look. Then again, a visor and basic black are a bit easier to adapt than some designs.

Who was that guy on cobra who had a back pack rocket launcher that fired whenever he said, "Bang?" And he frequently just started yelling bang and firing missiles indiscriminately?

Pretty sure Marlon could play a black version of that guy.

From the sound of things, they'll be basing Snake Eyes on the Marvel Comics version. Which is good, as the animated character never did much beyond the earliest episodes.

Oh, yeah, Metal-Head. I guess someone's got to provide the comic relief.

For some reason I'm betting GI Joe and Transformers will both make it to three movies each.

After which, I want to see them make a live action version of the two cartoon feature length movies that came out in the 80's for both shows. I love the GI Joe Movie. Not as much as I love the Transformers movie, but I still love it.

Given their adherence to the original styling of Snake Eyes, now I'm wondering how closely they'll fit the rest of the looks to the looks of the original characters. This is promising.

I used to have a big crush on Snake Eyes. He looks way too beefy in the pictures, especially the first one! Ninjas should be lithe and shredded, not big and bulky!

I know it's contrary to GI Joe tradition, but if Marlon Wayans is in this he had better die before it gets that far.

Actually, he better die in the opening credits, just to be safe.

Yes that's the guy. Perfect fit I should say, I mean they could even have him blow himself up in a humorous comedic manner within the first, oh, 5-7 minutes of the movie?
