What's the verdict? Can a Pixar movie about the lone robot left on a ruined, desolate planet possibly be appealing?

Hmmm. Could be. [Wink]

Contains some footage not seen previously, so *spoiler* warning for those trying to remain free of such content.

Edit: Plus, WALL*E meets a fire hydrant.

Basically Pixar's cred with me is such that, even if we were in bizarro world and they were making that god-awful looking Chihuaha movie coming this fall, I would not only go see it but be convinced it would be awesometastic.

Agreed, Rakeesh. There are some Pixar movies that I'm not much of a fan of, but that's because they're not as good. A Bug's Life is an awesome Disney movie, but a meh Pixar movie.

The last five Pixar movies have looked quite uninteresting to me, but I've enjoyed every single on.

This one looks just as uninteresting.

I right there with Rakeesh, and look forward to seeing it.

I've been looking forward to this for a long while, since I first saw the teaser for Wall-E that was attached to Ratatouille. My girlfriend's been at least somewhat excited (or she at least feigns it when I mention the movie). We're going to see it this weekend most likely.

I thought the trailer for Wall-e looked adorable. But I also got a kick out of the big song number the Chihuahuas did in their trailer, too.

What? I'm easily amused.

I usually have a wider acceptance of stuff that looks like it could be dumb that most people, but that Chihuahua movie looks beyond the bounds of stupid that I thought previously existed.
