Ahhh...
I finally have it... the newest model of the iphone! It's the best (useful) toy I've gotten in years! I just want to eat it! Yum yum yum.

My old college friend Joe and his wife have them and have been bugging me to get one too. After seeing theirs I've been lusting after one. Well, my old T-Mobile contract ended and off I went to get one!

While there, Joey, who's an IT god, began singing the praises of Apple. Interesting because he's always been a PC loyalist. Not surprising since back in '95-'99 college days Apple sucked bad against Microsoft.

And I didn't want to go Apple, for many reasons, but mostly because their mice don't have right buttons and all my games are for the PC. But he showed me the new Apple's and programs that let you run Windos OS and their mice have right click at last! Well.... doesn't seem like there are any reasons not to go Apple next time I buy a new computer. [Smile]

I have the new iPhone also. There are a lot of really cool apps out there for free or really cheap.

The battery life sucks though. I would buy a car charger or make sure you bring your USB cable if you are going to be near a computer throughout the day.

I really like the iPhone, but I will still stick with my PC. It's just what I am comfortable with.

Enjoy.

PS -- If you have friends with an iPhone, get the app Loopt. It allows you to "ping/pong" your friends and see where eachother are. You can also get directions to them from where you are. It's pretty cool.
