No and in fact a lot of industry professionals are running CS2 still which is annoying for file compatibility. Its just a bit redundant and it makes me angry here pay another 3000 because we made the buttons extra shiny.

I work in pre-press. I have CS2 at work and only have one problem customer who forgets to save legacy in his CS3. A quick follow up email to him gets me what I need. I have no intentions of upgrading my system at work to CS3 this year. I certainly don't feel compelled to upgrade to CS4. No big deal.

I seriously doubt our graphics design program will upgrade to CS4 this year, but I'm sure they'll look into upgrading for the next academic year.
