Eureka is a pretty entertaining show, I think of it as a American Torchwood for the Dr Who Audience / age group and I pray everyday for a Dr Who cross over, can you imagine his child like delight at playing with all those toys!?

but anyways episode 3 showed this nifty supercomputer.

"if you took every computer made in the last 30 years and combined them they wouldn't come close to the power in this room" to which I respond "and I would use it to play Supreme Commander" [Smile]

Thoughts? I really like this show, and the characters and the constant SG-1/Andromeda actor cameos.

Are there SG1 actors who weren't on Andromeda and vice versa?

I liked the preview for next week, but I'm always curious if a show really means it when they promise to kill a main character. On the other hand, Zoe's been doing well in school and staying out of trouble; there's not much conflict there with her dad anymore. And Allison's about done with the love triangle and her death could get Stark and Carter back into conflict again.

My other question is where is Callie the dry cleaner this season? I don't want to see Carter pine for Allison forever. Go out with your girlfriend already!

Does Carter still remember having been married to Allison? If so, I can see why it's hard for him to stop the pining.

no those memories were wiped, however I do expect that a certain residual affection remains which would make it difficult for him to let go.

Spoilertastic.

Scholarette gets the win on this one. I'm really going to miss him, but I hope they don't cop out and find ways to keep bringing him back. He went out saving the world. That's a good end. It takes a little of the edge off the sad.

I'm wondering if this means we'll get a love triangle the other way with Carter, Alison, and Callie, or if Callie's just going to stay gone with no explanation now that a main character's available again. Ugh.

I did like the pregnant sister looking to stay with them development. Seeing Jo and Zoe plan a baby shower should be some quality comedy.

I didn't find his actual death to be sad. Like AvidReader said, it was a good end. But when Alison found out, that was sad.

I never liked Stark. But I'm stunned that they did that.

I liked Stark as an antagonist for Carter. His straight faced mockery and just can't tell if he is seriously completely self-centered were great moments. To see him go wasn't sad compared to if he was less of a (fun) jerk. However, I can't help feeling there is now a large hole in the character department. The new woman isn't cutting it. There isn't enough interaction and her motivations so far are non-fun shallow. As it stands her character is too serious for a semi-comedy such as this show.

This is the first episode where I felt the "problem of the week" took away from what they were doing. Zoe and Fargo playing kingmaker was wonderful. Zoe getting chewed out by a 9 year old was better. The ultimate winner of the mayor's race was best (and I did my best to ignore the obvious conflict of interest in the ballot counter campaigning for him).

Did anyone get a good look at Vincent's Wall of Fame? I just saw old pictures. I didn't see who was in them. I can't decide if Thorn was there in '39 and isn't aging or if she's come to collect Daddy and cover up his mistakes. Whatever it is, I'm thoroughly enjoying them ramping up this plot.

And was Alison calling her Eva and claiming to be her friend bizarre to anyone else? Where did that come from?

I love Stark. [Frown] He is the epitome of sexy scientist.

Also, Carter's memory was wiped, but then he had a flashback at one point to when Henry was yelling about how looking at Carter reminded him of what he'd lost...

I also don't understand this "friendship" between Allison and Eva. It seems very... out of the blue, especially considering the lack of wedding invitation for Eva. [Dont Know]
