I am making several howto videos for some co-workers and family. I would like to record what I am doing on my computer as I do it.

Are there any free programs that do this? I need to do it on both XP and Ubuntu. If they cost, can anyone recommend one?

Thanks,

This appears to be an open source solution. Try googling this, you'll get some results.

Got it! Tested it! It is perfect for my purposes! Can't wait to see if it has a linux equivalent. Thanks!

We've used Wink for purposes like this. Free and works pretty well.
