So a while back I was put in charge of digitizing my families home videos. I made straight up DVD's for everyone, but lets be honest, who wants to sit through 45 minutes of Christmas footage, 15 times over. As I still have the digitized footage on my computer, this Christmas I went through made a sort of "Best Of" reel. I'm not the most AV savvy guy, but I get by.

My question is what is the best way to get these to my family. The easiest, of course, is to make DVD's. The problems with that are two fold. One, I'm reasonably sure that the DVD's would just get put in a closet and never really used. They are vaguely archaic nowadays. The second problem is that one of my sisters lives in Japan, so I'd like for her to get these on Christmas day without me paying a ton to get it there on time (if that's even possible this late).

So my thought went to the Cloud. Does anyone know of any way I could upload about two gigabytes worth of videos to a website that would be easily accessible by 6 other people all over the world? I currently have a Skydrive thingermajig, but if I'm not mistaken there is a 200 mb file upload limit, and a couple of the videos well exceed that. If there's something I'm not considering, please suggest alternatives too. Thanks Hatrack!

Dropbox You get 2gb free anyways, and it can be shared. I am actually up to 20gb free right now through referrals and other means.

Youtube could also work, you can set it up so that only people with the link to the videos can access it.

Google Drive allows you to share files with other people via email that are as large as 10GB each. 5GB is free and more is available starting around $5/month.

ETA: But if I were trying to share videos with family members that may not be tech savvy, YouTube would probably be the route I'd go.

Yeah, unlisted Youtube video is what I'd do.
