For those who were disappointed before, Zocalo has finally posted the audio webcast of Ferguson's presentation.

Awesome interview. You should post that over in the Green Energy thread as well. I think they could have done more to emphasize that Greening a business doesn't have to be a sacrifice, as they are making it sound like, often efficiency gains mean real savings in cost too.

Still it's good to see the overall outlook for business, even in the US, when it comes to Green, is good.

And an interview with JamesHanson on GlobalWarming and politics.

Also the BBC TheInterview homepage for future interviews.

Yeah, Lyrhawn, probably will; wasn't sure it actually fit in the Energy thread.
Plus it's kinda nice to be able to find the radio shows clustered in one thread.

As far as I can see, these financial problems are at least somewhat avoidable. The whole reason things aren't worse than they are is because of the regulations imposed after the Great Depression. The whole reason things are as BAD as they are is because many of those regulations were rolled back in 2000. Regulations do exactly what they sound like: they keep things from moving or changing too fast. Too much financial regulation stifles...too little leaves the door open for too much devastation when financial crises hit. IMHO. Fools try to reach an extreme of regulation, too much or too little.

What with PresidentWhackadoodle claiming that talking with "our enemies" is traitorous, and Clinton pinning her hopes on an assassination, L.A.TheatreWorks presentation of Seven Days in May seems apt.

Only a year and a half [Razz] you sexist

And actually, Blayne Bradley, you had recently posted a gaming thread with nearly the same title when this topic was first posted with "War of the World" as its title.

Phoenix landing on Mars occurring right NOW.
Actually the landing sequence has already happened. But Mars is so distant that it takes radio signals ~15minutes to reach Earth.

So far they have found nothing odd.

Just a little green man in a red fur coat with a bunch of green little reindeer and some green elves making toys for all the good little martian girls and boys.
