I have to ask: why do you care? He's not news. He's not interesting. He just confirms your existing bias. Why not just ignore him?

I'll be honest...I'm actually interested in seeing what he says about the conflict.
We've all heard experts, world leaders, mediators, would be negotiators and everything in between talk about the problem and how to fix it, but what's the actual bird's eye view from a laymen look like, who is totally removed from a vested interest in who wins?
Just because I think his involvement with the McCain campaign was goofy doesn't mean it's impossible to find some value in what he's about to undertake, assuming he ever actually does it. It COULD be interesting.

He went to Israel and did a report on how the media should NOT ever be allowed to report on war and said the media makes Americans hate our soldiers.
To continue to say that non-republicans hate our soldiers is a flat out lie. It is a total and absolute lie. This isn't Vietnam, people don't hate or blame our soldiers, we LOVE our soldiers, we thank our soldiers, we pray for our soldiers.
To continue to spew this lie is an insult to our soldiers.
The soldiers have the full support of the people.
I have never met anyone who has said a single negative thing about American soldiers.
Republican = Love America, Love our Soldiers, Love God
Non-Republican = hate America, hate our soldiers, hate god.
Yeah and while the Republicans sold this lie they enabled the Fed to GIVE banks 3.6 trillion dollars.

You know, I was all set to dispute this point, since I live in the San Francisco Bay Area of CA and I know an overwhelming majority of people who feel nothing but disdain and/or hatred of American soldiers.
But then I looked more closely at the poster name, and I decided I'd rather go rent a movie.
