Why did all the bugger queens live on one world?

Did the queens 'let' Ender destroy them?

I've read both books (plus all the others) and I can't quite figure these two out.

It goes unexplained, but I believe it was because they knew ender would destroy them anyway.

That does bring up a good point, because if all the queens were on the home world, and they controlled all the colonies that Ender defeated during the his training "philotically", then why did they send a queen for the second invasion? Why not send queens with other colonial expeditions? I guess we'll never know.

Agreed. As I recall (SPOILER, I guess):

All is explained to Ender by the Hive Queen cocoon he finds. But this revelation is not revealed to the reader.

All is hinted at by the Queen in the future (chronologically in story, past by date of publication) books. No full answer is every given; I guess it's one of those mystical question for which the true answer can only come from within. [Wink]
