My friend and I have been trying to figure out what this song is. The melody is played by a trumpet, the music is a good slow-dance number. I first remember hearing it in the 60's. It could be older. I don't think it's Herb Alpert.
I have tried searching by tapping the rhythm and playing online virtual pianos without success. I don't have a mic, and can't sing it all that well anyway. I did peck out the tune and write down the notes.
