This is the link to his latest column in which he posts a list at the end of it of tv series which have been lost in time, so to speak, (some more than others obviously).
Anyway, it's a great list, brought back a lot of childhood memories for me, as even though these are qunitessentially American tv shows, the vast majority of them made their way onto New Zealand tv at around the same time they were playing in the US.
My addition to the list would be "My Three Sons", with Fred MacMurray. Ran in the 60s. Very funny.
